Harry Potter...

Yo, it's me, CandyConfettiDude! I'm here to show you something my friends and I've been sort of obsessing over... nope, it's not cake (my favorite dessert, nomnomnom), it's something much more interesting and awesome than that, but definitely less tasty, not that I would eat it, of course. That awesome-fantastic-will-blow-your-mind-away thing I'm going to show you is... HARRY POTTER!

Yes, if you didn't know, I've been absolutely obsessing over Harry Potter lately, or really whenever I'm reading the books at the moment. I've read all the books in the series twice, no exceptions, and I'm currently reading the Deathly Hallows, which means that I'm almost close to reading the whole series thrice - er, three times. Yes, I'm a HarryPotterManiac, and yes, I prefer the books to the movies of Harry Potter. I've grown up with the story, and to me, having it end so soon (July, 2011) was very melodramatic. Now that I think about it, I want J. K. Rowling to create more books about Harry Potter - prequels and sequels even.

What is Wrong With Me?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
I haven't posted since last summer! Christmas and the New Year has passed already! No, this can NOT be!


Well, here I am, everyone; it's CandyConfetti. I know I haven't posted in a LONG while, so I decided to remove my story since that was taking forever. I've picked up some blogging tips as well from my trusted friend known as Idiot Writer. Trust me, she's not an idiot at all - she just calls herself that because of her modesty. 


So since I've removed the story, Stones of the Diamonds, I'll be posting the chapters of that on my Mibba account (for those of you who don't know what Mibba is, it's a creative writing website and I love it). My username is powerofCAPSLOCK; you can search it up on Google and find me. I hope you really enjoy my account there; the whole site is amazing.


I just want to wish everyone a happy New Year, it's already 2012!! Time is flowing by so fast, and the fact that it's already a new year brings so many memories and melodies. Wow, now I'm getting all poet-ish. Anyways, I hope everyone had a really fantastic New Year... for those of you who live near Manhattan probably watched some epic celebration. 


I promise I'll be updating more... I have a lot of things to do lately. Homework, Mibba, this blog, Facebook, Youtube, and some other websites are only a few of the things essential in my life. Yes, I'm pretty addicted to the internet - I would love to meet the person who invented it. Of course, these days I have to exercise, too - I haven't been too fit lately, eating chips and random stuff. So that's basically my schedule; I'm a busy person. Well, you know what I mean, as a daily life of a student.

What if...?

"What if...?" is a question many people ask. In fact, it is so popular that I'm pretty sure you have even used it. But in CandyConfetti's Random Blog, "What if...?" is a question game played by two or more people. It goes like this: One person has to pick a subject to ask about, such as food. For example, a question that involves food might ask, "What if a lunch lady gave me a cheeseburger with no cheese, even though a cheeseburger is supposed to have cheese in it?" Or, you can even be as specific as you can, such as, "What if someone drops a cheeseburger out their apartment window and it lands on my head?" Then, the opposite person or people have to answer that question as silly as possible.
If you had asked me, "What if someone drops a cheeseburger out their apartment window and it lands on my head?", then I would have answered, "Then you will either be swarmed by flies, birds, and other creatures (including humans, tee hee) who want to take a bite out of your precious head, or be humiliated by people around you who saw the disgusting fall and that mayonnaise dripping out of your hair."
Some rules to the game are: All the questions have to start with "What if...?" and all the answers have to be as hilarious as they can be, but really, please don't hurt the other people's feelings in your answers. Also, remember to take turns with your friends!!  ^o^ Have fun!

Riddles

Here are some riddles I'd like to share with:

What's not enough for one, just right for two, and too much for three?
Hint: If you've read the first book of the Secret Series, you would know this one!!

Answer: A secret! Or...a joke! (Too much laughter can cause stomach aches and tears; no one wants three stomach aches and people crying their eyes out! LOL)


Here's another one: What's black and white and red all over?

Answer: A newspaper! (Its black and white and READ all over LOL)
Another answer is: A blushing penguin (no explanation needed)

Our World

Our world is full of trees, full of flowers, full of animals, full of people, and full of lives.
Beautiful landscapes and lands surround us, bringing us happiness.
Precious animals keep us company, showing love and friendship.
Our world is full of many things, even those we don't know about.
Discovering the world is like discovering your home, your past, present, and future.

But do we know what this world really is?
If it is our home, past, present, and future, then why are weall treating our world, Earth this way?
What has our world done to deserve these terrible crimes?
We humans are nothing but cruelty to our world, yet our world has still provided a home for us.
The world is one of the most important things in our lives; we shouldn't treat it this way.
Polluting, littering, and wasting natural resources and energy all harm our world.
They take away the pieces of our home we love, and if continued, our pasts, presents, and futures could be destroyed.

Our world is special.
It is unique and important.
Those poor animals and plants don't deserve losing their home, the world, our world.
Our nature doesn't deserve this at all.
They are losing their homes, as we will in the future if this continues.
The animals can't move to Mars, and we can't either.

The world needs to live.
In order to do so, we need to help.
If the world can not survive, neither can we, but what are we doing instead of helping? Making everything worse.
Our world could be destroyed if we don't stop the polluting and wasting energy.
Sooner or later, we humans and our world could all be gone and lose our home, past, present, and future.
Our world needs to live as well, and we have got to do something to make it a better place for our children's children's childrens and many more childrens after them.                          
We have to believe, try our best, and hope.                                                  
Nothing is impossible, not if you put your mind to it.

...I know, that was really random, but a friend of mine is really random, and I guess some of that randomness rubbed off on me.
Anyways, being random is really...random!
I'll probably be posting more stuff on my blog, including stories and poems (I'm working on my story, it's on its first chapter) and maybe more cute pictures.
